Working with a copywriter should be easy and enjoyable. Working with a copywriter should never be complicated or frustrating. Our job is to make things easy while ensuring you get what you and your businesses needs.

One of the first things you will do when thinking about working with a copywriter is to have a chat.  We need to know what your business or service is about and what your goals are. Why is it that you need new copy?

  • Are you a start-up?
  • Are you rebranding?
  • Does your current copy not sit well with what you currently offer?

Every business is different and we cater to your unique copywriting needs.

There are many services that a copywriter offers. These include advertising copy, website content, blog posts and more. If you haven’t worked with a copywriter before, they will talk to you about your needs. Most business owners have an idea of what they are trying to achieve. Are you looking for enhanced brand recognition, higher sales, more foot traffic or something specific to you?  Working with a copywriter is about creating content that helps you smash those goals.

Working With Nicki Cawood – Copywriter and Content Writer

Working with me means a no-nonsense collaboration. I get to the core of how you and your business work and help unveil your vision for the future. This is the information needed to give your new content a goal. Filling a web page for the heck of it isn’t going to enhance your business. What you don’t get with me is upsell.

Once a business has identified their goals, their core values and their brand voice, they need a small but solid foundation of content. Website copy, blog posts and even social media copy that is consistent and focused. Bells, whistles and jazz hands are really not needed.

Bespoke Pricing, Because Who Like Paying For What They Don’t Need?

I believe in being fair and transparent in business. I offer custom pricing for all my copywriting services. No confusing packages – you only pay for what you need for your project. Fair pricing is one of the important requirements needed to be accredited by the Good Business Charter (which I am).

My straightforward 4-step process ensures you get exactly what you need without any hassle……..

1. Working With a Copywriter – Chat via Zoom, Teams, Phone or In-Person

Once you get in touch, we’ll arrange a video chat via Zoom, Teams, Google or a phone call if you’re all face-to-face meeting’d out. If you are local (I’m inNicki Cawood, Working with a copywriter Thirsk, North Yorkshire) we can meet in person if you prefer but often people prefer to do it digitally. Getting in touch is easy. Email me, contact me via my nifty Contact Page, grab me on LinkedIn or dive in and book a free discovery call with me on Calendly.

This is just a casual chat where we get to know each other better and you can learn about my services. We’ll talk about your business, and your goals and we can ask each other questions (nothing too heavy, I promise). After our chat, I’ll send you a quote outlining what we’ll do and how much it’ll cost.

2. Agreeing to the Quote

If you’re happy with our quote, it’s time to move forward. You’ll receive a full brief with what we’ll do, when we’ll start, when we’ll finish, and how much it’ll cost. Once you’ve looked it over and agreed, just complete the paperwork and make the first payment. Then I can get started.
Please ask if you have any questions. There is no such thing as a daft question (and I’ll have heard it before) so do ask if you’re unsure about anything.

3. Creating Your Content – Working With a Copywriter

During the writing process, feel free to get in touch if you have any questions. I’m here to help. To make sure the final product is just right I include two rounds of revisions. I want to make sure you’re happy with what has been created.

4. Payment & Delivery

Once everything’s done and you’re happy, the final invoice will be sent over. All invoices are to be paid within 7 days please, unless we’ve made a different arrangement. Once you’ve paid that, the copy is all yours. It’s as easy as that.

Working With a Copywriter Shouldn’t Be Hard Work

Get in touch when you’re ready to move forward or with any questions. I’m here to help at every step.
