About me

I’ve been copywriting for businesses since 2006. I’m passionate about the written word and have spent years helping clients from countless sectors meet their goals using professionally written, affordable content.

Over the years I’ve worked as a copywriter for digital marketing agencies, vaping clients, retail businesses, eco-focused enterprises, charities, the financial sector, service-led businesses, wedding photographers, virtual assistants and more.

Due to the digital nature of copywriting I am able to work with clients here at home and around the world.

As The Small Business Copywriter, I actively support my local community and small businesses by founding and running the Thirsk Coworking Group. I founded this free group back in 2017 and it has served as a fabulous way for locals to cowork together in a fun, supportive and productive way.

Working with and supporting small businesses, startups and individuals is my thing.

The Person

I live in Thirsk, North Yorkshire, have an amazing husband and two great kids (2 boys). We recently adopted a kitten from a local rescue who now rules us all. Being one of six siblings I have plenty of fabulous family around me.

I am a huge Dungeons and Dragons fan. As a family we adore all things geekery-related. We have hosted Thirsk Gamers from our house since 2013 which runs fortnightly (at least).

I love to read fantasy books such as those by David Gemmell, Anne Macffrey and the Dragonlance Chronicles as well as historical fiction or anything else that makes me think.
